Four months in Africa
We were in Cape Town for the first 4 weeks.
There we lived in Muizenberg in a small apartment with nice hosts.
From here we made many excursions.
Start was Cape Town heading north, the next stops: Namaqua NP, Ai Ais NP (1), to the Kgalagadi NP (2) for a few days, further through Botswana to the Central Kalahari, (3) then to the large salt pans of the Makgadikgadi NP. We continue into the Okavango Delta (4) for a few days, then via the Chobe NP to Zambia in the Kafue South NP (5) (planning not implemented). Then head west through the Etosha NP (6) in Namibia, along the Skeletoncoast (7 (to the dunes of Sossusvlei) (8). Then the safari was over and the car was dropped off in Johannesburg.
What do you need for this: a car that is suitable for all-terrain terrain, a lot of diesel, plenty of water, always wood for a fire. A tent, clothes for 2 ° but also 30 ° and 67 days.
Oh, navigation isn't that bad.
